Starting Sunday, March 27, Bob Geller of Fusion PR  hosts a week-long, hands-on forum about the practical uses of RSS technology. Topics include:

- What RSS is and how to find, filter and read RSS news feeds

- How to use the technology to engage the media,

- How to generate and promote your RSS feeds

- Ways to measure and monitor RSS feed consumption

- Case studies where RSS was used to support Marketing campaigns

Bloggers joining the discussion include an IAOCblog favorite, BL Ochman, who provided lively discussion at IAOC's BlogFest 2004 and was a panelist in our professional development workshop, "Straight Talk about Blogging and PR" at the Public Relations Society of America's annual conference on October 26, 2004.

Also returning is Paolo Torchio from E-site Marketing, the host of our Travel Blog. Philippe Borremans of IBM, who joined our Industry Blog and shared information about IBM's internal use of Blogging technology, will be back to discuss the use of RSS in crisis communication. Reid Conrad and Richard Hoy round out the lineup of bloggers.

In addition, Bob Geller will be doing Q & As with journalist Jon Udell and publicist Phil Gomes. Udell's interview will present a journalist's perspective on RSS, and the discussion with Gomes will feature a white paper he did on using RSS for online media rooms.
