That's a fantastic point Dan - I totally agree. That sort of communication psychology should be a basic in all training. I just read "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell, and, like his first book "The Tipping Point", has some fascinating research information that can and should be applied to marketing and communications work. It was so exciting to read! If anyone hasn't read this book and the first one, don't miss it!
